International Business Students from the Faculty of Business Administration, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, Embark on Field Trips to 3 Major Companies in International Business, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management

In line with the University’s policy of connecting with enterprises in education and enabling students to gain practical experience, master skills, and build knowledge for their future careers, the International Business Department under the Faculty of Business Administration at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade organized a series of corporate field trips from June 12 to June 15, 2024. The event drew over 200 International Business students to three major companies specializing in International Business, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management:

• U&I Logistics Joint Stock Company: A leading member in the Logistics sector under Unigroup, U&I was ranked among the top 10 Logistics enterprises in Vietnam in 2023. Additionally, U&I Logistics was honored as the brand with the largest bonded warehouse network in Vietnam in 2023. U&I specializes in providing customs brokerage, import-export freight forwarding, warehousing, and domestic transport by road, inland waterways, coastal shipping, and rail.

• Tan Cang Song Than ICD Joint Stock Company: A member of Saigon Newport Corporation, which provides over 50% of logistics and supply chain management services in Vietnam. Tan Cang Song Than ICD is one of the leading enterprises in Vietnam providing rapid, comprehensive logistics solutions for businesses, featuring an extensive system of warehouses, container yards, transportation, and customs brokerage.

• Tan Cang Cat Lai STC Joint Stock Company: An enterprise providing high-quality training solutions and human resource development for the seaport, transport, and logistics industries. It also supports human resource management for both domestic and international enterprises.

Through this field trip, International Business students from the Faculty of Business Administration can gain early career orientation regarding practical job positions and establish clear goals for themselves upon graduation.

At the conclusion of the tour, students engaged in a Q&A session with corporate representatives to discuss operational matters, career opportunities, practical experiences, and lessons learned. The field trip provided students with invaluable experiences, helping them bridge the gap with the real-world corporate environment.
