FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
1. Education and Training
The Faculty is responsible for the academic rigor and practical relevance of its programs:
- Instructional Execution: Implementing teaching plans for both undergraduate and postgraduate specializations managed by the Faculty.
- Interdisciplinary Contribution: Providing instructional support for other training programs and majors within the University.
- Strategic Planning: Formulating and executing the long-term development strategies of the Faculty.
- Corporate Integration: Establishing partnerships with enterprises and social organizations to enhance training quality and facilitate job placement for students.
- Curriculum Development: Tailoring the University’s educational objectives, programs, and methods to fit specific majors within the Faculty.
- Quality Management: Monitoring educational standards while continuously updating and advancing specialized curricula.
2. Scientific Research
The Faculty serves as a hub for academic inquiry and knowledge transfer:
- Policy Implementation: Communicating and executing scientific and technological missions at the National, Ministerial, and Provincial levels.
- Quality Advancement: Promoting and elevating the standard of scientific research activities within the Faculty.
- Project Execution: Conducting research projects across various administrative levels.
- Academic Forums: Presiding over or collaborating on the organization of specialized scientific conferences and seminars.
3. Human Resource Management
The Faculty ensures the professional growth and management of its academic staff:
- Staff Administration: Managing faculty members according to the decentralization policies established by the Rector.
- Personnel Planning: Developing staffing plans and participating in recruitment processes to ensure new hires meet the Faculty's specific requirements.
- Professional Development: Creating plans for advanced training and fostering the development of successor faculty members.
- Performance Evaluation: Coordinating the assessment of teaching and research activities to maintain a high-quality instructional team.
