1. OVERVIEW
The program aims to train doctoral graduates with advanced and in-depth expertise in Business Administration, who are capable of independently conducting scientific research as well as participating in collaborative research activities in areas related to Business Administration. Graduates are expected to possess creative thinking skills, the ability to identify, approach, analyze, and provide consultation on both practical and theoretical issues within the discipline and interdisciplinary fields. They are also expected to be capable of participating in undergraduate and postgraduate education in relevant fields, while demonstrating competence in management and team leadership.

4. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
4.1. General Requirements for Applicants
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
a) Hold a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree with excellent classification in a relevant field; or qualify equivalent to Level 7 of the Vietnamese Qualifications Framework in certain specialized disciplines appropriate to the doctoral training field.
b) Meet the admission requirements of the doctoral training program for which they are applying.
c) Demonstrate research experience through a Master’s thesis from a research-oriented training program; or through published scientific articles or conference papers; or have at least 02 years (24 months) of professional experience as a lecturer or researcher at educational institutions or science and technology organizations.
d) Submit a draft research proposal and a proposed study and research plan for the entire program.
e) Provide at least one letter of recommendation evaluating the applicant’s professional ethics, academic competence, and research capability, written by a scientist who holds the title of Professor or Associate Professor, or a Doctor of Science / PhD degree in a relevant field and who has expertise in the area the applicant intends to pursue.
4.2. Foreign Language Requirements
Applicants who are Vietnamese citizens must satisfy the foreign language requirement, evidenced by one of the following qualifications or certificates:
a) A Bachelor’s degree or higher awarded by a foreign higher education institution, a branch campus of a foreign higher education institution in Vietnam, or a Vietnamese higher education institution, to applicants who have completed a full-time program delivered in a foreign language.
b) A Bachelor’s degree in a foreign language major awarded by a Vietnamese higher education institution.
c) A valid foreign language certificate at the time of application, or another foreign language certificate recognized as equivalent to Level 4 under the 6-Level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam, as announced by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).
Applicants who are foreign nationals and wish to enroll in a doctoral program delivered in Vietnamese must possess a Vietnamese language certificate of at least Level 4 under the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners, and must also satisfy the requirement for a second foreign language as determined by the Rector, except where the applicant is a native speaker of the language used in the doctoral training program.
Applicants must also satisfy the requirements concerning relevant academic background, foreign language proficiency, professional/research experience, and other conditions applicable to applicants depending on the characteristics of each discipline, training field, and specific doctoral training program of the University, on the basis of the minimum requirements stipulated in this Article.
5. CAREER OPPORTUNITIES:
Job positions after graduation
After graduation, PhD candidates will have sufficient capacity to participate in scientific research activities and be capable of leading scientific research projects and topics in fields related to business administration.
After graduation, PhD candidates are a key source of teaching and research personnel in the field of business administration at universities, centers, institutes, and research organizations.
After graduation, PhD candidates may also become professional consultants or leaders in business organizations and other institutions, both domestically and internationally.
