History of the Faculty of Business Administration
The Faculty of Business Administration originated from the Faculty of Economics at the Ho Chi Minh City College of Food Industry.
- March 2010: The Faculty of Economics was split into two separate entities: the Faculty of Business Administration & Tourism and the Faculty of Finance & Accounting.
- December 1, 2017: Due to the rapid growth of the Business Administration major, a key training pillar of the university, the Faculty of Business Administration was established as an independent faculty.
- Present Day: The Faculty has quickly become one of the largest specialized units within the university, offering four levels of education: PhD., Master’s, and Bachelor's degrees.
Vision: Moving forward, the Faculty aims to become a premier educational institution for high-quality human resources in Business and Management, meeting the rigorous demands of domestic, regional, and international labor markets.

Key Achievements
1. Education & Training
The Faculty currently manages nearly 3,300 undergraduate students and approximately 100 graduate students. The employment rate within six months of graduation consistently reaches 85–88%. Many alumni have established successful professional careers and hold significant positions in their respective industries.
2. Scientific Research
Faculty members are actively engaged in research, with dozens of scientific articles published in prestigious domestic and international journals. Numerous research projects at the university, provincial, and ministerial levels have been successfully implemented and applied to real-world practices with positive results.
3. Corporate Partnerships
To bridge the gap between theory and practice, the Faculty has signed long-term cooperation agreements with various enterprises for student internships and practical training.
- Bachelor's Level: The curriculum includes a "Corporate Semester" in the final year. Students work full-time at a company to gain professional experience and develop specialized skills in their field.
4. Community Service
Beyond their academic duties, FBA’s members contribute to community development projects, such as:
- Guiding low-income households in business planning and financial management.
- Capacity-building programs for local officials in Southern provinces under "Program 135."
- Student Union Initiatives: Annual volunteer programs such as "Mid-Autumn Festival for Children," "Spring of Kindness," and the "Green Summer" campaign, which provide direct support to disadvantaged communities.
